Jackson Ole Sapit has told the Jubilee government to allow the NASA coalition to go on with its planned swearing in to avoid chaos.

According to the Anglican Church of Kenya Arch-Bishop, the country will burn if the government plays into Odinga’s politics by trying to stop him from his planned swearing in.

Sapit, who was speaking at St. Michael’s ACK church in Bondo added that the government should ensure Odinga and his group are protected.

“If NASA must swear in their principals let them be protected to swear them in a peaceful environment and after the swearing in they will go home. If we do that without panicking in any way, we shall have peace because it doesn’t mean someone will have an opportunity to take over the government by force,” said Ole Sapit.

He, however, urged NASA and their supporters to ensure they maintain peace during and after the exercise, in order to protect lives.

“It is also my humble call to NASA that if they must do it they must ensure their supporters do not engage in any violent ways because all of us must respect the rule of law and ensure no Kenyans die.

Let us protect this country today for tomorrow and many years to come,” said Ole Sapit.

NASA has planned it’s swearing-in of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka, an event that is to take place on Tuesday at the Uhuru Park on Tuesday.

However, their plan was almost ruined last week, when the Uhuru Park Grounds were said to be out of bounds for any activities.
