Votes tallying in all the six constituencies in Uasin Gishu county was concluded on Friday morning and official results announced by the respective Constituency Returning Officers.As expected, a majority of the electorate voted overwhelmingly to Jubilee party's Uhuru Kenyatta, especially following the withdrawal of Raila Odinga.Of the 450,055 registered voters in the county considered a key Jubilee stronghold, President Kenyatta garnered a total of 263,598 votes.This was a drop of about 4,000 votes from the over 267,000 votes he got during the August 8 general elections whose results were annulled by the Supreme Court.In results announced per constituency, the President had 54,194 votes in Turbo, Deputy President William Ruto's constituency that registered a paltry 49 percent voter turnout.Ainabkoi constituency registered the highest voter turnout of 67.7 percent with Kenyatta garnering 35,920 votes, Moiben (44,016), Soy (50,242), Kapseret (35,955) and in Kesses constituency the President had 42,771 votes.NASA flag bearer who withdrew from the race Raila Odinga had slightly over 2,000 votes compared to the over 70,000 he had in August 8 poll.
