NASA leader Raila Odinga promised to lead his flock to Canaan as he traversed the nation seeking to be the fifth Kenyan president.
The dreams of moving from Egypt to Canaan has been shuttered by the IEBC declaration that the incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta is the victor in the hard fought battle to State House.
According to the IEBC data, over 6 million Kenyans are frustrated by the inability to cross the famous River Jordan to the Promised Land. Many longed for Canaan due to its equal opportunities, justice, employment and security among others as explained by NASA luminaries. However, all was not in vain for the legendary opposition leader.
Raila Odinga leaves a legacy that will live for ages in the hearts and minds of his followers. Odinga has a young man/woman somewhere meditating about how he/she was not able to taste a Kenya that ‘Baba’ lived trying to structure. There is a Kenyan cursing the inability of “Joshua” not being able to grace the top leadership in this nation.
Raila Odinga has not failed. He has planted a mastered seed that might take ages to germinate but one day, his dreams will come true. He is the Kenyan Martin Luther King Junior who has a dream that will materialize in a future that only God knows.
