Raila has mastered the art of keeping people dependent on him.

Although the agenda of the meeting between the two leaders remains unclear, this is not likely to be good news to former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.

Kalonzo, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula have been accusing Raila of betrayal.

The trio has reasons to question the motive of the former Prime Minister considering his meeting with president Uhuru Kenyatta without their knowledge.

Activities of the Luo political kingpin have left many surprised apparently.

Barely a month, Raila has met several leaders who have been against his Presidency including the former Kiambu county Boss William Kabogo and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.

Raila seems to be planning something. Before the August General elections, Raila promised to back Kalonzo in the race to Statehouse in 2022. This, however, looks like a dream considering their recent relationship.

Trouble started when Kalonzo, Musalia, and Wetangula skipped his controversial swearing in. In a shocking twist of events, Wetangula lost his Minority Senate leader seat. The three have to think of their next move.

Raila seems to be reaching out to all leaders who would have backed Kalonzo in 2022. The Ukambani political kingpin must think twice about his chances of ascending to power and do the necessary before it dawns on him.
