NASA flag-bearer Raila Odinga has come out to speak over the perceived insults a section of Jubilee leaders direct at him.
Speaking during the Presidential Debate held on Monday, the Opposition chief said he did not take issues with such insults, adding that he took them as political jokes.
He referred to President Uhuru Kenyatta's constant referring to him as muguruki (mad man) and said he knows that the president does it only on a light touch.
"In politics, you must come up with some jokes. And like when Uhuru refers to me as kimundo muguruki (a meaningless mad man), I don't think that he means that I am a mad man," said Raila.
The NASA leader enjoyed massive audience as Uhuru, who is perceived as his main rival, failed to show up.
