The transformation of NASA into a resistance movement has continued to elicit mixed reactions from different factions. The resistance movement will either make or break Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. Musyoka, who has been missing in NASA rallies, has maintained that he will contest for the presidency in 2022.

The activities of the resistance movement will either strengthen or weaken the Kamba political kingpin. The former vice president has a name to protect and freedom to fight for. He is torn between good and evil. In his speech at Uhuru Park, Raila said that he wants to embark on a mission to ensure that Kenyans reap from the fruits of development. The fight for liberation is among the reasons Raila has attracted hate and love in equal measure.

“From today we are transforming Nasa into a resistance movement, embark on a national campaign of defiance of illegitimate governmental authority and non-co-operation with all its organs and boycott the goods and services offered by the businesses for whose benefit dictatorship is being established,” Mr Odinga said.

Kalonzo has to rethink on whether to be active in the resistance movement or not.
