Top 2017 KCSE candidate Karimi Naomi Kawira. [Photo| Twitter]Celebrations have been witnessed in different parts of the country following the announcement of the 2017 KCSE examination results that were released on Wednesday, December 20.A section of candidates performed extremely well with the best candidate scoring an A of 87.011 points. The top three candidates in this year's exam seem to have maintained their good performance since back in primary school. All the three candidates registered sterling performance in their final class eight exams after scoring over 400 marks . Karimi Naomi Kawira of Pangani Girls who was the best 2017 KCSE candidate nationally scored 422 marks out of 500 in her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams. The second best candidate, Sharon Jepchumba of Moi Girls High Shool - Eldoret obtained 410 marks in her KCPE while Kamau Brian Maina of Alliance High who came in in the third position nationally scored 403 marks.Maina was the top boy nationally.
