President Uhuru Kenyatta's Friday meeting with NASA leader Raila Odinga is a big blow to former Vice President and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka' s 2022 presidential bid, political analyst Peter Ngure has said.

Ngure observes that the Friday meeting is a clear indication that NASA has collapsed and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Raila and Kalonzo signed in 2017 is now trash.

In an interview on Friday, Ngure said Raila will form or join another Alliance without Kalonzo Musyoka in the picture come 2022.

"We are likely to see Raila enter into a new coalition without his NASA deputy Kalonzo Musyoka in the 2022 general election," Ngure said.

The Kiambu based analyst and political commentator observed that Raila might work with Deputy President William Ruto in 2022.

" It is a blow to Kalonzo and other NASA principals and the best thing for them is to pull out and focus on their individual parties because Raila seems no longer interested in their company," he said.

Ngure observed that Kalonzo's 2022 bid will be fruitless unless he strategizes well.

"It will be hard for Kalonzo since he is likely to meet Raila and other tough names on the presidential ballot in 2022, " the analyst noted.

Raila's meeting with Uhuru on Friday continues to draw reactions with majority of opposition politicians allied to Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetamgula accusing Raila for betrayal.

On Friday, Makueni nominated MCA  Linet Mbula termed Raila as the 'real watermelon', saying that the former Prime Minister has destroyed the hope millions of NASA supporters had in him.

Mbula also said Kenyans especially the NASA supporters should forget about reforms.

In a post on her Facebook page, the vocal MCA said the innocent blood shed during last year's controversial presidential election was in vain.

Deported and self declared National Resistance Movement  (NRM) leader Miguna Miguna also hit at Raila accusing him of betraying NASA' quest for electoral reforms and social justice.

The Friday meeting according to analysts signified NASA's end after months of speculations that the coalition was experiencing cracks.

A section of NASA affiliate parties have openly expressed their dissatisfaction and threatened to pull out of the coalition.

Kalonzo's Wiper party meets next week to decide on its future in the Raila Odinga led coalition.
