Legal top gun Fred Ngatia spoke to media on Friday after the Supreme Court upheld the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ngatia, who has been described as quiet and media shy while outside the courtroom, was the lead lawyer for President Uhuru Kenyatta's legal team.
Ngatia, renown sharp legal mind, had told the court to throw out the petition arguing that the election had met high legal and moral threshhold.
After the court agreed with the defense team and threw out the case, Ngatia broke his silence.
He however did not brag on the strength of his defense presentation nor the weakness of the case.
"This a God given win. It is not about me, us or even the lawyers. It is God who has won it for us," Ngatia said.
