Businessman Jimmy Wanjigi. His house in Muthaiga has been under police siege over the last 72 hours. [The Star]Businessman and Nasa principal financier Jimmy Wanjigi has finally 'resurfaced' as police left his home, early Wednesday morning. Wanjigi said what has been happening at his Muthaiga residence over the last 3 days is an 'unjustified siege by the rogue Uhuru government and the so-called police'."It was nothing else but persecution. Everything is a total fabrication. My wife was assaulted by police officers as she tried to record each an everything the officers were doing my house. They desecrated my residence where my children grew up," Wanjigi told a press conference on Wednesday. He said his family and him are innocent Kenyans being persecuted because of their political inclination."If they can do this to us, what do they do to the common mwananchi? That Uhuru government was formed here and even he came here for acceptance where he met baba after 2013 Supreme Court ruling. I felt honoured and blessed that 10 million Kenyans were literally at my home to cement peace," Wanjigi added. He asserted that his support for 'Baba is unwavering and unshaken'.
