Wetangula has said that he has all it takes to be a good president and that he is the only person who has what it takes to defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017.

Addressing a rally in Narok on Sunday, the Bungoma senator said that Raila and Kalonzo Musyoka should back him and that should the ODM leader bow out of the race, he will give him a special job in government.

"Raila has tried being President three times and he has not succeeded. Please support me and I will  clinch the seat," Wetangula said.

The Senate Minority leader was also quick to allay fears that the coalition will disintegrate before the 2017 poll.

He urged their supporters to be patient as they consult among themselves on who will fly the coalition flag.
