NASA co-principal Moses Wetang'ula has responded to the situation at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where lawyer Miguna Miguna has been denied entry into the country.
Wetangula speaking on Tuesday morning, hit out at the government over the attempt to re-deport Miguna.
In an interview with Kenyans.co.ke, Miguna stated that the move by the state is an illegality that should not be condoned.
"It's unfortunate, its unconstitutional. Its an illegality. It should never be allowed to happening any modern state. It's an injustice. Miguna is a Kenyan citizen and he should be treated as such," Wetang'ula stated.
The Bungoma senator further rubbished claims that he had failed to show solidarity with Miguna after NASA leader Raila Odinga visited the airport.
Raila was in company of Siaya Senator James Orengo and businessman Jimi Wanjigi.
There was an attempt to re-deport Miguna to Dubai on Monday night through an emirates flight, however, he caused chaos by refusing to board the flight.
Miguna is still at JKIA where he has refused to re-apply for his Kenyan citizenship.
