NASA deputy leader Kalonzo Musyoka has asked supporters to be hopeful saying that their swearing-in next week will bring the change they have been yearning for years.
Speaking in Kabati, Kitui west on Thursday, Kalonzo said that the country will not remain the same after next week.
He said that the push for reforms will take another stage adding that Jubilee administration will have no option but to listen.
The former vice president said that they will no longer beg or tolerate Uhuru government impunity once they take their oath.
“The game is going to change from Tuesday next week and this time around they will listen and dance to our tune,” he said.
Kalonzo asked Kenyans to stand firm and support them in their push for electoral reforms.
The former Vice president rubbished claims that their swearing-in is a plot to cause violence.He said that Jubilee has panicked and resulted in propaganda to discredit NASA’s reforms agenda.
Kalonzo said that he will no longer beg Jubilee for talks adding that the ‘window’ for dialogue lapsed and it’s time for action.
NASA plans to swear in Raila and Kalonzo as the people’s president and deputy respectively on January 30.
The government has termed the planned coronation illegal and highly treasonous.
Meanwhile, the Wiper leader has exuded confidence that NASA leader Raila Odinga will back his 2022 presidential bid.
The former Vice President said that he is not worried that he has the trust of Odinga.The Wiper leader said that their main agenda now is to fight for electoral reforms and put an end to electoral fraud.
“I am 100 percent sure that I will get Raila’s backing in 2022 for my presidential bid but that is not an issue now because our focus is on electoral reforms,” he said.
Kalonzo asked the Kamba community to be patient and support him when the time comes.
The Wiper leader also asked Kamba politicians to unite and forge together in the fight against electoral fraud and impunity.
Kalonzo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Raila that is to see him automatically fly the NASA presidential ticket in 2022.
