Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto is expected to announce his next move following his defeat to Joyce Laboso who is set to replace him as Bomet Governor.
"I will announce my next cause of action once the governor-elect is sworn in. I can confirm that I will be present to hand over and thereafter tell Kenyans where I will be heading to," Ruto said as reported by The Standard.
Laboso is set to be sworn in on Tuesday and President Uhuru Kenyatta along with his deputy William Ruto are expected to attend.
Ruto also rubbished social media claims that he was sick following his defeat.
"Do I look like someone who has been unwell? I am healthier than before since I have rested enough but from Tuesday, everyone should expect to know where I am heading to after I handover power," a jovial Ruto said.
He went on to congratulate Laboso and urged her to continue with the work he has done.
"From now we are one as residents of Bomet; the election is behind us. We should now hold hands and work towards building a greater Bomet," he said.
