Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has reportedly traveled to Dubai, days after brushing shoulders with a section of opposition leaders after being ousted from his Senate Minority Leader position.
Interestingly, the Bungoma Senator was spotted with a top African footballer who comes from West Africa in the Middle East country.
The NASA co-principal was seen with Ghanaian footballer Michael Essien who at one point had a successful football career as he played for English side Chelsea.
An undated photo that is making rounds on social media shows the two posing for a photo shoot at the Dubai International Airport.
Essien will be remembered for turning around Chelsea's midfield as he displayed his prowess while playing with other African players in the English team including Didier Yves Drogba of Cote d'Ivoire and John Obi Michel from Nigeria.
It is not yet clear what Wetangula and Essien discussed as both have totally divergent interests- Wetangula is a politician while Essien is a sportsman.
Essien presently plays for Persib Bandung, a club based in Bundung in Indonesia.
Wetangula, from the time opposition chief Raila Odinga met President Uhuru Kenyatta at the commander in chief's office at Harambee House has maintained a low profile and blames Raila for his ouster at his Senate Minority post.
He has indicated he will vie for the presidency in 2022.
