With the high temperatures being experienced in different parts of the country, many people tend to feel uncomfortable especially because of sweating profusely.
Others are wary that their skin may be damaged by the scorching heat which has been termed as equinox phenomenon but it is not the case.

Nonetheless, here are some measures you should observe to keep your body cool during this hot weather.
Drink lots of water to keep you body hydrated at all times. The body is engineered in a way that it will lose more water during hot weather through sweating and requires frequent intervals of hydration.
In fact, drink a lot of water even if you do not fell thirsty. That’s the rule.
Stay out of the sun especially when it is hottest: from 11am to around 4pm when it really scorches. Should you have any outdoor activity, try to do it early morning or late evening when the sun has gone down.

You can place a damp towel on your neck and shoulders and also dip your feet in a bucket full of cold water as it enables the body to radiate heat better.
