Addressing NASA supporters in Changamwe, Joho expressed confidence that Raila, who has since reunited with President Uhuru Kenyatta, will ascend to power with ease. The county boss said that the Luo political kingpin’s stars had shone bright and his Presidency was unstoppable.

“Ati siku hiyo tarehe tisa naskia jamaa mmoja anasimama hivi anashika Biblia anasema Mimi Raila Amolo Odinga naapa ya kwamba…,” he said, as the crowd cheered.

He called on the residents to turn up in large numbers and vote for Raila to make his dream a reality.

“When Raila becomes president, we will be entering his house as we please regardless of whether it is day or night,” said Joho.

At one point in his speech, Joho said that the leaders of the opposition will not allow vote rigging to take place during the Presidential race. The leaders backing Raila’s presidential bid lamented that there were plans to rig the elections. The concerns were intensified following the nullification of the August election outcome.
