Kenya achieved its all-time best when it was ranked twelfth in the World Rugby Seven’s series in the 2011-2012 standing.
The ranking meant that Kenya was by far better than other great rugby nations like Canada, Spain, Portugal, Russia, and Brazil.
To date, it remains to be Kenya’s highest ever ranking having accumulated a lot of points tally during that campaign.
Kenya lost the bowl semifinal in the Gold Coast against the United States and it meant they accumulated 5 points from that.
Rugby has been the most decently performing sport in the country and Kenya is considered as one of the core teams that have been selected to play in each and every edition of World Rugby competitions since 2008.
As such, they have been able to accumulate a lot of points over the years as well as managing some impressive performances that have had the side a force to reckon with in terms of world rugby.
The most notable performance was when the country won the Singapore World Rugby Series in Singapore after giving their all to set up a grand finale showdown with Samoa.
The team recently lost to Argentina in the World Series despite ending Fiji’s 26-game unbeaten run.
It will be a good sight to see the nation progress even further up the rankings.
