In the recent years, pastors have become vocal in matters of morality and politics.

Is there a story unfolding in your community? Let Hivisasa know

Just like some politicians hiding behind parliamentary privileges as well as immunities, some pastors have decided to use Biblical verses to solve their differences with members of the church and the general public (Touch not mine anointed and do my prophet no harm-Psalms 105:15 or 1 chronicles 16.22).

Many citizens fear raising concerns about pastors. Why should a church leader ask members to elect someone because he assisted them to complete the construction of their church?

There are even pastors who scare their congregation telling them weird things like they can turn into snakes and bite people.

How do you expect sisters and brothers in Christ to tell such pastors that there are wrong politically? Leaders are chosen by God. It is upon the church to pray for good leadership and not impose leaders upon its people.

It is also the duty of pastors and other religious leaders to preach about different pertinent issues including politics but, it is upon citizens to decide who should be their president, MP or county representative among other leaders.

If your leader supports a particular leader and he loses, does it mean he is serving a lesser God?
