The once vocal MP and fierce defender of the Jubilee government has continued to remain silent even as the 2022 succession politics continue to take shape.Ng'ang'a lost the Thika seat to businessman Patrick Wainaina in the hotly contested election.Little is known about the whereabouts of Ng’ang’a, who was once a strong critic of former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo.According to political analyst Peter Ngure, the former Thika lawmaker has a huge chance of making a comeback in 2022.The analyst argues that the former MP's influence in Kiambu politics cannot be ruled out."She (Ng'ang'a) has a huge support base and will certainly make a comeback in 2022," Ngure said in an interview on Saturday.The analyst said the former MP is among top politicians who will play a key role in the 2022 presidential succession politics.There have been claims that the former legislator could be strategizing to vie for the Kiambu governor seat in 2022.
