Known as the king of collabos, the veteran Kenyan artist Mr. Lenny has gone incognito after pioneering the urban music in the country.
Mr. Lenny started as a dancer before he was introduced to rapping by a friend and started rapping before he eventually got into singing where he met Vinnie at Scratch Records and did the Githurai remix.
The artist later left the entertainment industry after releasing an album that had the song Helena, his last release, due to lack of sponsorships saying recording music was expensive.
Another reason why he quitted was the push by his sister to pursue a different path but surprisingly, his sister later became his biggest fan.
The Githurai hitmaker had done many Collabos with veteran musicians such as E-sir, Nameless, Googz and Vinnie Banton.
Even though he tried to make a return,after seven years of silence, with his song Randa Randa, the urban music lovers still miss the mellow voice of the artist after he went missing in the music industry leaving some of his fellow pioneers like Jua Kali and Nameless still shining and rocking the industry.
