Three years ago, media unearthed the suspicious dealings of one Prophet Doctor Victor Kanyari, a leading Nairobi pastor and televangelist.
The world was dazed by the exposé, especially the theatrics which the man of God appeared to make on the holy alters.
There were big miracles which could only happen after you planted a seed of Sh320 with the holy man promising to water it in heaven until it blossomed into a big tree of prosperity.
But that ended up as a conman game among a section of critics who thought the man was swindling his unsuspecting flock of their hard-earned cash.
From then, Kanyari disappeared and the public has been asking where he is.
Early this year, the controversial preacher resurfaced when he angered a section of his followers on social media after he posted a photo of himself showing off bundles of cash.
In the photo, Kanyari is sitting in a posh sofa with bread and tea in front of him.
In the caption he praises his smile saying it is the only "language even a baby understands. It costs nothing but it creates much".
