The life of a politician is always in the same place - the public.
It therefore becomes a matter worth concern when a key politician exits the political scene without letting the followers know reasons behind the decision.
Even after leading a strong campaign for the Kibra constituency MP seat ahead of party preliminaries, NASA leader Raila Odinga's daughter Rosemary Odinga is one politician who has completely disappeared from the public limelight without warning or colour.
Rosemary led a strong campaign ahead of the ODM primaries and was touted to be Raila Odinga's heir in the unlikely event that the NASA leader lost a chance to carry the opposition's flag to the August 8 general elections.
She even caused friction in Baba's camp with seasoned allies taking sides in her battle to overcome incumbent Ken Okoth.
But with days left to the ODM party nominations, Rosemary however fell sick and was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital where she was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumor. She was then flown to South Africa for further treatment.
The Raila Odinga second-born was to stay in South Africa for close to two and half months, whereafter she returned to the country and a small crowd convened at the JKIA to receive her and Mama Ida.
But after that, nobody seems to be asking where the once vibrant Kibra MP hopeful is as she has gone mute even in the hottest political waters.
Where is she?
