The political season is here again. Politicians are busy crisscrossing the country as they seek to sell their manifestos to Kenyans in readiness for the August 8 General Election.

However, among the notably silent leaders is the son of Tharaka Nithi County, Senator Kithure Kindiki.

The Senator has been quiet for a long time in a season when most politicians are vocal in public functions and in the media.

Compared to his National Assembly counterpart and Garissa Town MP Aden Duale who is highly visible, Kindiki has taken an unexpected backseat, despite several aspirants ganging up to unseat him.

The Senator, who has been very vocal in Jubilee Party meetings, was conspicuously missing during Jubilee's Tononoka rally in Mombasa early this month.

Where is Kindiki?
