Self proclaimed Peoples President Raila Odinga is currently accepting to be referred using the title 'mzee' and not His Excellency.

But that is only taking place in Zimbabwe.

In a tweet yesterday by Mr Nelson Chamisa the Deputy opposition leader in Zimbabwe, Raila was reffered to as 'mzee' and he never opposed it. "At the Airport to welcome President MT’s Friend Kenya’s Mzee Raila Odinga.Mzee will be paying his last respects to his dear Friend & Cde DR. MT at Humanikwa Village in Buhera tomorrow morning," read the tweet that has angered opposition supporters. 

Mr Odinga travelled to the West African country on Monday Afternoon to attend the burial of Mr Morgan Tsvangirai who died last week. 

Mr Tsvangirai was the leader of opposition until his death.

This comes barely two weeks after Mr Odinga asked for an apology from Devolution CS Eugine Wamalwa for not referring to him as his excellency.

Odinga took oath of office in January 30, 2018 as the Peoples President at Uhuru Park in a function that was attended by millions of Kenyans. 

Yesterday night opposition's main financier Jimmy Wanjigi and Siaya Senator James Orengo were barred from leaving the country at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport. 

Their passports were also confiscated.
