Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile’s quest to clinch the Mavoko Parliamentary has presented him with a number challenges.

The legislator has been hitting headlines in the recent past because of angry youths disrupting his political rallies. His past shining stars seem to grow darker as we head to the next general polls.

Ndile faces an uphill task of convincing the people to vote for him if he cannot hold a successful rally. How will the legislator tell his people what he intends to do for them if they do not want to listen to him?

Kalembe is one of the most renowned politicians from this part of the nation. The recent twist of events sends a different signal about his leadership.

Unless his opponents are behind the chaos, Kalembe is likely to be in for a rude shock.  Police have been forced to disperse angry youths in several rallies organized by Ndile.

The high level of political intolerance the former MP has been subjected to gives him enough reasons to think twice.

During his hay days, Kalembe was the man to watch in any race he was involved, which has not been the case this time round.

On his part, the legislator has been faulting his political opponents for the woes he has suffered since he declared interest in the seat.
