Ben Orori George Momanyi is the member of Parliament for Borabu constituency.
He is the first MP for Borabu constituency since it was separated from the North Murigango/Borabu. He was elected under the Wiper party, an affiliate of the Cord coalition
Born in 1972 at Kenyenya in Nyamira County, Momanyi is an associate lawyer and owner of Momanyi & Associates Company.
He contested in 2007 for the North Mugirango/Borabu parliamentary seat but lost to Wilfred Moriasi Ombui who emerged the winner in the 2007 general election.
In 2013, Momanyi was seen asthe best candidate and defeated Partick Osero who was his closest competitor in the elections.
He sits in the House business committee and also in the committee on justice and legal affairs in Parliament.
According to Mzalendo.com, Momanyi has spoken 35 times in the National Assembly .
Momanyi has been said to be warming up to Jubilee.
He will face tough competition for the MP race from Patrick Osero, the chairman Tourism board, Kambi Nyandoro, Sonko Rogena among others.
