Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has come out to calm the storm over NASA presidential flag bearer.

Speaking during a press conference at Orange House on Tuesday evening, Odinga insisted that the coalition has not settled on a torch bearer to face President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 polls.

“We have not agreed on the line-up. And, naturally, when we do, we will announce and make it public,” said the former Prime Minister.

An infuriated Odinga hit out at the media, accusing them of nagging impatience.

“Give us a break! Do not keep asking us. The world is not dying because we have not agreed,” Odinga said in response to prodding by journalists concerning the feud sparked by his party officials.

Earlier in the day, ODM secretary general Agnes Zani had affirmed that the recently leaked report designating Raila Odinga as the joint opposition flag bearer and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate was accurate.

The statement ignited a fresh row in the coalition with Musalia Mudavadi-led ANC party accusing ODM of rocking the NASA boat by leaking vital documents that the affiliate parties were working on.

On Sunday Wiper leader said the four NASA co-principals will announce its presidential candidate after the Easter holiday.
