Several road accidents witnessed in our roads are always blamed on the weather and the season that they occur.
I have always been taking this as a negligence from the drivers/motorists themselves.
It has also been a blame game between National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and the Traffic police where the public would suffer in vain as they say "big fish" throw blame to each other.
The truth of the matter is that there's less care and concern to the common mwanachi since it's a business of who eats to his/her satisfaction.
There are rules in especially our highways that if taken into serious consideration, the witnessed accidents could reduce by more than half.
The Traffic Police were fully handed over the button just the other day to make sure that our roads are safe for the public to freely and comfortably travel but contrary to this, this has become a "legalised" mode of money collection from the so-called state officers in the name of traffic police.
A motorbike is allowed to carry two that is, the rider and the passenger but this is not a wonder in Kenyan highway where you can find a motorcycle carrying four passengers and passes roadblocks without a question. Could there be a collusion between them?
Kenyans hope for a remedy in the Interior CS to save their precious lives.
