As 2017 elections nears, ODM leader Raila Odinga will be the Cord's presidential as by the look of things.
The person to be his running mate has not yet been revealed. ODM members are busy ditching the party. Who may be his running mate now?
The person to be his running mate should be a strong person to convince a massive of Kenyans to vote for the Cord coalition. The person should be one who can bring credibility in the Kenyan politics.
Kalonzo Musyoka seems not to be the best to be Raila's running mate since he was in the government during the PNU regime but never gained fame in Kenyan politics.
Kalonzo also seems to be one leg inside and one leg outside Cord and if he will not be a flag bearer to run for presidency in 2017, he will definitely ditch Cord.
On the other, Moses Wetang'ula, Bungoma Senator also wants to be Cord's flag bearer come 2017 to run for presidency.
Despite him lacking the ability to convince the Luhya people, he launched his presidential plans few months ago. If he will not be endorsed as Cord's candidate, he will as well leave Cord.
Raila should have a strong running mate if at he wants to be President in 2017.
