If the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is unable to conduct the presidential election on August 8, then Nasa and the courts are not to blame.
Nasa politician Koigi Wamwere has said that IEBC is solely to blame for not doing what the law stipulates on tendering.
He has also refuted IEBC claims that it has little time arguing that the commission has ample time to conduct a fresh tendering and conduct elections on the set date.
"IEBC has enough time to do what is legally acceptable in this tendering but apparently it wants to waste this time moving up and down in courts seeking an appeal. Let the commission look for a fresh firm to print the presidential ballots and Nasa won't dispute their new pick," Koigi told Kameme TV on Sunday.
However, Lawyer Harrison Kinyanjui disagreed with Koigi saying that Nasa would still reject another firm saying the opposition isn't ready for elections.
"Let us tell the truth, Nasa isn't prepared to face this election and their prayer is that the election doesn't happen so that they can use a shortcut to power through a grand coalition government," said Kinyajui.
