[Photo|Nasa coalition]In depth details of opposition's swearing-in of its leader remains scarce, especially now that the Judiciary has sidelined itself from the plans.NASA leader Raila Odinga plans a swearing-in ceremony on December 12, a day Kenyans will be celebrating Jamhuri Day.They will be marking 54 years of independence. In a brief address to supporters at Manyanja Road in Donholm Nairobi last Tuesday, Odinga who has failed to recognise Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency, vowed to take oath of office.“I will be sworn-in as president through the People’s Assembly and get into State House on December 12. Uhuru Kenyatta is not the President of Kenya," said the former prime minister.Judiciary Registrar Anne Amadi said the arm of government was yet to be notified by NASA or Odinga over its Jamhuri Day plans."The Judiciary has not been notified on the inauguration ceremony planned by the Opposition party," Amadi said on Friday at Pride Inn Hotel.Odinga has not opened up about who exactly will swear him in, given that the Constitution stipulates a President-elect and the deputy president-elect should be sworn in at a ceremony presided over by Chief Justice or Deputy Chief Justice (in case of Chief Justice's absence). The event should be administered by Judiciary Registrar.Odinga vowed to give Uhuru's government sleepless nights until he is ejected and Kenyans get electoral justice and right to their democratic freedom. If he swears himself in, Odinga risks being hanged for treason.
