The ODM NDC meeting slated for Friday   will be attended by all party elected and nominated leaders at the Orange House in Nairobi.

According to ODM chairman John Mbadi,  the meeting will discuss a raft of issues among them the party’s relationship with NASA affiliate outfits.

Mbadi also says the top party organ meeting will discuss wrangles experienced in National Assembly on sharing of committee positions.

In a briefing with journalists at Parliament buildings in Nairobi on Friday, Mbadi said that the meeting is crucial and could see certain resolutions made.

“The key agenda for the NDC will be assessing and evaluating the party but we are likely to discuss other key issues relating to NASA as a coalition,” he said.

Mbadi said that there is growing suspicion among affiliate parities which he said could stall the Alliance reforms agenda if not addressed.

“We need to talk and address this suspicions if indeed we are to achieve electoral reforms that we are pushing,” he said.

The ODM MP denied claims that the Orange Party has been bullying and harassing other NASA affiliate parties in regards to the coalition activities.

The Suba MP said that NASA affiliate parties have been receiving equal treatment, adding that it is malicious for some partners to start complaining and issuing threats.

There are claims of cracks in NASA in regards to sharing of Parliamentary committee positions and Raila Odinga’s swearing in on January 30 at Uhuru Park which his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka skipped.

Some affiliate parties among them Wiper have openly complained of being sidelined on parliamentary positions.

Kalonzo’s absence at Raila’s inauguration has also created suspicion in the coalition with claims that he is not committed on NASA’s reforms agenda.

On Tuesday Kalonzo as quoted terming Raila’s inauguration on January 30 as the people’s president illegal.

The former Vice President said that though it was illegal, consultations are in place to have him sworn in.
