The leader majority in parliament Aden Duale has been silent for some time despite the high pressures on anti-IEBC demos being conducted by the opposition.
Duale is known to very vocal and a strong supporter of president Uhuru Kenyatta but of late he is seen to miss in many high-profile presidential events.
He has been issuing statements to NASA as he has always done.
According to people close to him said in the corridors that Duale could be afraid of Farah Maalim who filed a petition against him.
Duale could have decided to talk to Farah Maalim out of the petition. Maalim wants to quickly end discussions with Duale and launch a new fight with Yusuf Haji who is the senator.
The majority leader could be fixing his issues first before proceeding to the bigger ground.Duale is among the most vibrant members in the parliament especially when deliberating on laws that in line with Jubilee strategies.
Duale was accused of delaying Maalim supporters from voting and allowing his supporters cast votes twice. Duale is yet to respond on this.
