The former lawmaker has suffered three major blows within two months, the latest being his victory nullified by the high court

Nandi Hills Member of Parliament, Keter's victory was challenged by an independent candidate, Bernard Kittur, whom he outshined in the Jubilee party primaries.

Alfred Keter was also arrested, remanded and charged with Ksh633 million Treasury bill fraud in another blow that affected him. The arrest took on 16 February remanded then arraigned in court on 19th February, where declined the charges. He was then released on bond.

The Nandi hill MP had earlier this year kicked out the Labour and Social Welfare Committee chairmanship, for what was said defying or rather not obeying his boss, Jubilee Party, on in-house power-sharing.

With the voting system in the country, there are bigger chances for Alfred Keter to receive sympathy votes from his supporters as well as those who supported his challenger, Mr. Kitturr, an independent candidate.

He has suffered major blow within the very shortest time, which make the Nandi Hills voters to with a different heart, which they showed in the August elections.

One could see that feeling in people when they celebrated with the ex-MP after the heartbreaking ruling from the high court, when the air was filled with "Ruto must go" chants
