The vocal MP said if given a chance, he will name and shame all those involved in the scam one by one.

“I want to call upon president Uhuru Kenyatta to give me a chance to reveal thieves involved in the scam leaving the poor farmer without pay four months down the line,” said Keter in Eldoret town during a farmers meeting, Monday.

He claimed people who were involved in the scam are the same people who did not want Moiben Member of Parliament Silas Tiren to be the chairman of Agriculture in the National Assembly.

“I call upon President Uhuru Kenyatta to come to the aide of farmers by taking stern action against those people who were involved in the scandal, surely where is Kenya heading with scandals day in day out, he must do something to end this mess,” Keter added.

The Jubilee MP further called on the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to investigate as to why the Kisumu, Nakuru and Bungoma NCPB Silos received a lot of maize yet they are known to receive few of the produce.

Keter however, called on the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure that farmers are paid their dues and also open the cereals board for farmers to deliver their produce.
