Today the 9th March all Universities in the Country will be heading to Maseno University for the National Kenya Universities Sports Association Annual Championships for women (KUSA).
This will be 7th edition of the KUSA games which are going to last for three days starting from 9th, 10th and 12th.
The national women championship will entail soccer, scrabble, athletics, hockey, volleyball, handball, chess, netball, karate, taekwondo, loan tennis, table tennis, badminton and handball.
The sports director of games of Maseno University, Haji Galma Dido urged all students from the Institution to turn up and cheer their teams on the field.
Apart from sports, other activities will be taking place in the Institution as the Maseno University Aids Control Unit in Conjunction with the games department (KUSA) invited all to the integrated health service drive at the Institution's Graduation Square from 9th to 11th.
The activities the Aids Control Unit in Conjunction with Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) include:
. HIV testing services. Contraceptives
. Referrals for (STI screening and VMMC)
. Condom education and distribution
. Small group sessions on HIV prevention, stigma and discrimination and sexual reproductive health
The Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) games are held annually and this year's games will be going down at Maseno University.
