This makes most people to remember unprecedented bizarre that occurred at Garissa University College on 2nd April, 2015.

 It is a long time since the incident occurred but it is fresh in minds of many and nothing can ever mop it from them.

Information had been passed to students throught their social media groups of the impending attack at their university later on. The information circulated a day before the attack that happened to be a fools day.

As any other Kenyan, the students took it as a joke aimed to make a fool of someone.Unfortunately the information was true and the Al-shaabab militants entered the university killing students like flies.

The incident claimed 148 lives with others nursing severe injuries.The "Fool's day" mentality made most student to take the notice for granted. Hence leading to a loss of young vibrant youths.

This was so sudden that it became a worldly broadcasted news. It was terror in the whole country.

Something different should be replaced with this "fools day".

Many incidents go unreported due to the mentality created that whatever someone says in the particular day, is a blatant lie.

Unless something is done to eliminate the mentality from people's minds, the nation will keep losing many people and resources due to the pranking thing that takes effect on may 1.
