All responsible stakeholders need to sit down and critically delve into the areas that might have taken a turn for the worst.

If it is the education system, stakeholders in the sector need to come up with an all adoptive curriculum that will favour all Kenyans.

If it is the lack of employment, the government should task itself with ensuring it creates more job opportunities that will reduce the number of idle youth in the society.

This will in turn reduce the number of crime cases being reported in the country.

Cases of crime in most parts of Mombasa are usually planned and executed by young people who should either be at home or school studying. These young kids even carry weapons like guns, knives and other crude weapons which they use to threaten their victims.

In some instances, they even go to the extent of killing the victims who refuse to cooperate.

If things are not handled as early enough, the rate at which people will continue losing their property will only rise.
