Doctors, Clinical Officers and Nurses from public hospitals in Bomet County are not participating in the ongoing doctors' and nurses strike.
The health care workers said they arrived at the decision after a successful consultative meeting with the administration of the Bomet County government, led by governor Isaac Ruto.
The parties entered into negotiations on the health workers' salary demand proposals.
Health services across public hospitals in the County are going on smoothly, even as patients suffer across the Country. This is because health operations have been paraylsed.
The countrywide strike kicked off December 5, with participants calling for salary increment.
