Ngure argues that recent move by a section of politicians to endorse Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid a clear sign of the region's intentions ahead of 2022.

He adds that the defection of top Coast politicians from opposition parties is also a plus for Jubilee ahead of 2022.

Mvurya has been rallying coast residents and politicians to support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.
