Today's young generation, I will sound crazy if I was heard saying that our academic certificates are not important anymore. But youth have lost meaning these days. You have to know someone to get a job; and the job will pay you just a quarter of your monthly budget. At the end of each month, your earnings are spent on paying debts you borrowed throughout the month. Now, here are some reasons why this won't stop happening;

1. Fast money

Our young generation has fallen for fast money most evidently through online marketing. A campus student will sell his laptop at Kshs. 25,000 to go get an online business account with an anonymous company with no profiling, the company after working for a whilr will disappear from the market and leave a frustrated Kenyan youth with no income.

2. Innovations and Creativity

Our youth have brains full of ideas they will never actualize because of the doubts they have and several excuses. You will hear them talk of lacking capital, man power, resources and all sorts of little excuses where in real sense, they just can't open their eyes enough to find alternative ways of actualizing their dreams.

3. Improper planning and approach

With the numerous ideas in our brains, we still forget that poor planning is creditation and admission to the 'Failures' academy.' If we could sit down and do proper plans with limits and time frames for our ideas, we could have an extremely rich young Kenyan generation. What if we got guidance from the relevant sources and offices on our projects, we could avoid all the little mistakes we make that lead to our failing.

4. Networking

It takes networking for projects to grow into big companies. Our youth have almost little or no networking skills. Sometimes they miss out on the proper networking channels anf platforms. Training on such skills can help our youth know which sector favour their knowledge and skills.

5. Commitment

We as youth have ended up choosing to enjoy life. What difference does it make anyway? What if we forgot our excitements for a while and sat down to business in a year? Think of the change we could make to our economy, our living standards.

Most if not all of you can agree to my analysis, our youth will keep crying out for challenges of unemployment when they could actually create the emplyment themselves. Look out, and let's make the world a better place.
