Diamond Platinumz celebrated his birthday on Monday, October 2, 2017. The Tanzanian singer organized a three-day party for a section of his fans, close allies and family members. They swapped from yatch parties to club celebrations.
However, the celebrity’s celebrations were spoiled by one of his friends who presented a strange gift. Big Brother Africa winner Idris Sultan joined the thousands of Diamond’s fans who presented him with birthday goodies. He offered TSh 500 for the singer to purchase condoms to bar him from siring out of wedlock.
''Hii hapa 500 nunua Condom ili hizo elfu 70 tuwe tunatoa misaada. Na RAV4 zitapeleka Mchele orphanage. Happy birthday bro.'' Idris wrote on Instagram as quoted by Tuko.
Idris indirectly advised Diamond to help the needy children instead of concentrating on having extra-marital affairs that are proving to be too costly to maintain. He also said the wealthy singer should create employment for the needy in Tanzania.
The post angered one of Diamond’s baby mamas Hamisa Mobetto. She lashed at Idris for being insensitive and stated that pregnancies are gifts from God.
