Talks to declare Eldoret town, the Uasin Gishu County's capital, the fourth City in the country have gone ballistic, with several doubts by locals if it meets the threshold.

HealthcareThe town has the second largest public health facility in the country, the Moi Teaching, and Referral Hospital (MTRH) as well as other private hospitals like St. Lukes Orthopedic and Trauma hospital, Mediheal, Reale Hospital and the Eldoret hospital meaning when in Eldoret you are assured of getting quality healthcare.HousingAccording to a census conducted by the population of cities in Kenya (2018), Eldoret town has the ability to offer accommodation to over 216,479 residents.
