This follows the death of 10 passengers aboard the FlySax plane that crashed in the Aberdare forest one week ago killing all 10 people on board.

Speaking on Friday, Amisi said these planes are light and cannot sustain extreme weather conditions.

"I am a frequent traveler of this aircraft it could be because of the lightweight that caused a mishap forcing the plane to crash. The best thing we can do as leaders is to get rid of them," he said.

He was speaking during the burial of two Fiji citizens who were among those who died.

The flight crashed on its way from Kitale to Nairobi.

The two deceased persons Sakaraia Mataka and his son Paul Mataka 16, were missionaries who have been living in Kenya for the past 10 years.

The deceased's widow Serafina Mataka eulogized her husband and son as people who were passionate about God's work.

"I have always known my husband and son as men of faith who were passionate sharing God's word with anyone," Mataka said.
