Former Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu now wants the media to give NASA leader Raila Odinga total blackout.The former MP said the media should not cover Raila's ‘chaotic and violent rallies’.Speaking to journalists in Nairobi on Wednesday, Mutambu argued that the media is escalating tension and anxiety by covering NASA rallies.The politician said the election period is over, adding that the fourth estate should focus on uniting the country and not broadcasting Raila's events."The media is partly to blame for the political tension and anxiety being created by one individual called Raila Odinga," he said.Mutambu who ditched Wiper for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party accused the opposition of attempting to drag the country into violence.He asked Raila to wait until 2022 for him to engage in political campaigns.Mutambu at the same time dismissed Raila's threat of being sworn in as president.He said Raila's swearing-in will be inconsequential as he does not have the instruments of power.Raila on Tuesday told his supporters that he will be sworn in as president by the people's assembly on December 12, 2017.
