In a telephone interview with the Star, Magaya observed that Ruto is expected to fully embrace the new opposition outfit.

“I can tell you without a doubt that we are reading from the same script with Isaac and he loves this country,” he said.

“He (Isaac Ruto) appreciates that Jubilee has completely destroyed the fabric that holds the nation together and he will be affirming his commitment and his love for the nation by officially joining the National Super Alliance," he added.

Ruto fell out with his former ally Deputy President William Ruto, and has since formed his own political party  --Chama Cha Mashinani Party-- through which he will seek re-election in the forthcoming polls.

The Bomet rally will be NASA's first joint public rally since its formal formation earlier on Tuesday.

The alliance looks to unite all opposition players ahead of the August general election.
