Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui is one of the most 'quiet' high-profile leaders in the country.

The former Nakuru town MP has since been earmarked as one of the possible leaders to run alongside Deputy President William Ruto in the 2022 presidential bid.

This would not be a bad choice, judging by Kinyanjui's character and mode of operation.

With politics being a game where the most appealing and convincing player stands the best chance of carrying the day, the soft-spoken former National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) would be the best for the post.

His tenderness would make him a good assistant head of state, with the president being assured of a polite correction whenever he veers off the track.

Apparently, he has also garnered enough experience over time, a quality that would enable him serve accordingly, giving him an edge over others.

This would also be necessary should the President be, for some reason, unable to perform or out of the country.

With leaders in power known to make many political enemies out of government, as a result of scathing attacks and pride, expressed through chest-thumping, it would be unlikely for Kinyanjui to engage in the same thanks to the humility he has expressed throughout his leadership tenure.

This, however, depends on whether he will be picked in the first place.
