Speaking at  Wamunyu ABC Primary School in Mwala on Saturday, Kamene said Governor Mutua and Kalonzo should iron out their differences and work together .

She said the two leaders will easily ascend to top leadership if they support each other in 2022.

Kamene said Kalonzo being the senior Kamba politician should be endorsed by the community for presidency in 2022.

"Governor Mutua should shelve his 2022 bid in the spirit of brotherhood and support Kalonzo Musyoka if indeed we (the Kamba community) want to have one of our own ascend to power," Kamene said.

Kamene stated that the Kamba community has no option but to unite and work together.

She observed that disunity, blackmail and political back-stabbing among the leaders is to blame for the region's poor development.

Kamene said the Kamba community has been made a laughing stalk because of disunity among its leaders.

"We have experienced leaders who if they work together, we will go far as a community," Kamene added.

Governor Mutua has declared interest in the presidential seat in 2022 same as Kalonzo Musyoka.

Mutua who is serving his second and last term, says his bid is unstoppable.

Kalonzo on the other hand is eyeing the seat on NASA ticket as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he signed with ODM leader Raila Odinga in 2017.

Pressure has been mounting on Kalonzo to quit NASA on grounds that Raila will not honor the MoU they signed in 2017.
