Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya has challenged the National Super Alliance (NASA) principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula to back ODM Leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid.
Speaking in Kitale on Saturday, the ODM Deputy Party leader argued that the former premier is the only among the four in NASA who can beat President Uhuru Kenyatta convincingly in the August polls.
"It is true we are in NASA and from my own thinking, Raila is the best candidate to send uhuru home due to his experience" the Star quoted him.
The coalition is still grappling on who to field as the Opposition flag bearer, with sources indicating that the process could be delayed.
The outfit has since formed a technical committee that is expected to come up with a suitable candidate.
The coalition is a conglomeration of four Opposition parties, that includes: Odinga's ODM, Wiper Democratic Movement, Amani National Congress, and Ford Kenya.
